| The Inter-Lake Yachtsmans Fund, to which all private donations are tax-deductible, is an IRS-recognized 501(c)3 charitable organization. US Bank holds the assets, however they are administered by the nine Trustees who are elected by The Fund's members (its donors). Listed below are some of the grants The Fund made last year. This ambitious program of support can only continue through your generosity. We urge you to become a member of The Fund or renew your old membership. We will gladly recognize you in the I-LYA Yearbook and other publications. Simply complete and mail the form. It's worthwhile... it's tax deductible...and it's greatly appreciated. |

Amateur Activities

The Yachtsmans Fund has established the Challenge Team, which will provide partial funding to encourage juniors to take part in important events (regattas & clinics) in addition to I-LYA and US SAILING ladder events. Primarily intended to encourage those who have not yet reached their sailing potential, this program is open to all I-LYA Juniors between the ages of 8 and 19. To qualify for funding, the event or clinic must typically draw at least 20-25 entrants per class and be of a level of competition equal to or greater than that found at the I-LYA Junior Bay Regatta. The following are examples of the type of activity in which this program is intended to encourage participation:
