New Executive Secretary Named

The I-LYA Trustees are pleased to announce that we have selected 2019 Commodore Cindy Johnson-Mintus as our new Executive Secretary. The Trustees evaluated a slate of highly qualified candidates and we are very grateful for their interest and commitment to continue to assist I-LYA in the future. Com. Johnson-Mintus has a long history with I-LYA and has served not only as Commodore but also served two terms on the Board of Trustees. She worked with the previous Executive Secretary, Com. Allen Ashley, over the years on the financial side of the organization and she has many years of experience serving as Treasurer of the Administration.

Cindy has recently retired from her position as Partner with the Certified Public Accounting Firm of Bober, Markey, Fedorovich in Akron, Ohio.

“I am honored to be selected for this position,” says Com. Johnson-Mintus, “and I look forward to serving the I-LYA in the role of Executive Secretary. Com. Allen Ashley was Executive Secretary for almost 20 years and I will do my best to continue his great leadership!”

Respectfully submitted,

Com. Steven Hyder, President
